Elton John is set to host his annual Academy Awards viewing party in support of the Aids Foundation, on March 2. This year’s edition is set to be as grand as ever, with a long line-up of stars. John recently announced that pop star Chappell Roan will be the event’s sole performer.

Apart from John and his husband David Furnish, the likes of Jean Smart, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Neil Patrick Harris, and David Burtka will also act as co-hosts to raise funds for AIDS research.

"What a journey this tour has been and now we find ourselves at the end of it," he posted on Instagram. While he won’t be touring abroad, it is likely that he will do a “one-off” performance in the future, he said.
